What size mat fits a bathroom vanity?
a 30-inch vanity takes the 28 × 19 in mat; a 36-inch vanity takes the 34 × 19 in mat. Both are 19 inches deep, because vanities are shallower than kitchen cabinets.
Will a kitchen under-sink mat fit my vanity?
Usually not. Kitchen mats are 22 inches deep and most vanity interiors are about 19.25 inches deep, so a kitchen mat bows against the back wall. The 19-inch-deep vanity sizes are made for that depth.
Can I put hot hair tools on it?
Yes. A resting curling iron or flat iron will not mark silicone, so the vanity floor becomes a safe place to stage hot tools.
Will an under-sink mat fit around pipes?
Plumbing that comes down from the sink sits on top of the mat, so it is no obstacle. If pipes rise through the cabinet floor, measure depth to the front of the pipes and choose a mat that stops there. Most leaks start at the drain or disposal toward the front, so a shorter mat still sits under the part that leaks, with its lip intact.
