Measure the flat interior floor, side wall to side wall. A 24-inch base takes the 22 × 22 mat, 30-inch takes 28 × 22, 33-inch takes 31 × 22, 36-inch takes 34.25 × 22; vanities take 28 × 19 (30-inch) or 34 × 19 (36-inch). The Fit Finder does this from one measurement.

Down, always. A slightly smaller mat still covers the floor where things drip and its lip still contains spills; a too-big mat bows against the walls and won't sit right.

No. The mat sits on the cabinet floor and plumbing sits on top of it. Only hardware bolted through the cabinet floor itself would matter, which is rare.

We would rather you did not. Measure your depth to the front of the pipes and choose a mat that stops there: almost every leak starts at the drain or disposal toward the front of the cabinet, so a shorter mat still sits under the part that leaks, with its lip intact all the way around. If you do prefer to cut, seal every cut with a premium silicone caulk for the best protection. It works well, but a sealed cut is a repair and we cannot guarantee it stays watertight the way an uncut lip does.

Wipe with a damp cloth for daily care. For a reset, rinse in the sink or tub with a drop of dish soap and towel dry. The floor is smooth on purpose: no grooves, nothing to scrub.

Yes, solid silicone with no fillers, the same material class as baking mats. That's why it doesn't smell, doesn't crack, and doesn't curl at the corners.

Yes. Mats ship folded, and they relax once they are in the cabinet. Faint creases may remain and they do not affect the mat's performance in any way: the lip still holds, the floor still wipes clean.

No. Silicone is inert and non-staining, and the smooth underside rests on the cabinet floor without trapping moisture underneath.
